Xinxing Yuan 袁新星 was born and raised in Jiangsu Province, China. She got a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering at the University of New Mexico. She speaks Mandarin and English. She is passionate about educating and spreading the culture of China because she believes Chinese is the most beautiful language in the world. In the past, she worked as a volunteer Chinese teacher both in China and in the US. She married an American and taught him Chinese every day. She will work as a language educator and take efforts to facilitate cross-cultural communication.
